A speculative fashion world built from handmade denim objects, original photography and artificial intelligence.
Somewhere between archive, laboratory and museum, discarded material mutates into artefact — and artefact into life.
The project begins with handmade denim textile sculptures by Serge Lion. Worn fabric, exposed seams and frayed edges become objects in their own right. Photographed in the studio under saturated coloured lighting, their real construction and material presence form the foundation of the project.
Physical denim sculptures made from worn textiles and exposed construction.
Original studio photography preserves the objects’ textures, forms and details.
AI transforms original photographs into an imagined museum of future relics.
The original photographs form the visual anchor of the AI integration. Their seams, weight and irregular construction remain visible as the image expands into an imagined museum and a cast of contemporary fashion characters.
Real objects become monumental exhibits. Photography becomes a new visual reality.
Eight images. One imagined museum. Denim as material, monument, fashion and future relic.
DENIM ALCHEMY brings physical craftsmanship, original photography and digital imagination into a single evolving visual world.
